I’ve been fighting all week. How about you?
Our company is fighting. We are fighting to:
- Find the right people.
- Leverage tools like Amazon, Google, YouTube for the glory of God.
- Be effective.
- Be profitable.
- Accomplish our mission which is to bear fruit in all 195 nations.
This week one person fought for their job. They are here because of their FIGHT. Another person fought against our company. They are gone because of their FIGHT.
God calls us to FIGHT
1 Timothy 6:12 (NLT)
”Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.“
- There is a FIGHT
- The FIGHT is real.
- God calls us to FIGHT.
- Must make sure to FIGHT the right FIGHT.
God FIGHTS for us.
Exodus 14:14 (NLT)
”The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”“
The Enemy FIGHTS against us.
Ephesians 6:11 (NLT)
”Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.“
God FIGHTS Through Us
Ephesians 6:12-18 (NLT)
”For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.“
The FIGHT is spiritual not physical.
We don’t FIGHT against each other/people.
We FIGHT for principle.
We FIGHT for:
- Truth
- Righteousness
- Peace
- Faith
- Salvation
Our weapons:
- Take the Word
- Pray in the Spirit
- Be persistent
We FIGHT for all believers everywhere.
I want to encourage you to be a FIGHTER.
Let God FIGHT through you.
The battle belongs to the Lord.
The battle has already been won!
Together let’s say, “I will FIGHT the good FIGHT so help me God.”
