I Know Who Will Win the 2020 Election

The 2020 United States presidential election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Voters will cast their ballots to either reelect the Republican incumbent President Donald J Trump and Vice President Mike Pence respectively or will elect Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden and his running mate Senator Kamala Harris.

The winner of the 2020 presidential election is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 20, 2021.

With 90,055,033 total early votes cast, early voting has already hit 65% of the total U.S. ballots cast in 2016.

Long before the 2 candidates debated their issues with one another the citizens of the USA as well as the international community have been vigorously debated the issues unlike ever before in world history.

Among the top issues in 2020 are:

  1. Coronavirus
  2. Childcare
  3. Gun rights and gun control
  4. Trade and tariffs
  5. Free college and student debts
  6. Immigration
  7. Healthcare
  8. Climate change
  9. Abortion rights
  10. Economy
  11. Iran

Few elections in US history have turned the United States of America into the “Divided States of America” like the 2020 election. Every where you turn people are harshly divided and split. Families, neighbors, communities, and even voting parties are split. It’s no longer safe to hold different opinions. There is an absolute intolerance to differing opinions. Skepticism has never been higher.

Today, you don’t have to guess where any particular media outlet stands. Anyone who doesn’t see which candidate a particular media outlet loves or hates is simply turning a deaf ear. Modern technology has enabled the media to highlight the imperfections of all candidates. The 2020 election will not be FOR the favorite candidate with the best accomplishments as much as it will be AGAINST the candidate that’s hated the most.

As Election Day draws near there are nagging concerns that no matter the outcome of the 2020 election it will only divide the USA even further.

I can tell you right now with absolute certainty who will win the 2020 US Presidential election on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

The candidate that will be elected will be:

2020 Election Trump or Biden?

an imperfect human!

The reality is we are all created with a desire for perfection! There is a God-shaped void within all of us for the perfection only God can provide.

Consider what Romans 1:25 says, “They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.”

The truth is, God created both Donald J Trump and Joe Biden as well as their running mates. All throughout human history mankind has resisted the Creator in order to worship created things instead.

In 1 Samuel 8 Israel asked Samuel for a King. In verse 7 God says to Samuel, “it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.”

Right here and many other times throughout history people have worshipped human leaders instead of worshipping God.

As a Christian, I have trusted Jesus ONLY for salvation. In doing so I turned my life over to God. I chose to follow in the steps of Jesus. God gave me his own Holy Spirit to empower me to be His witness on the earth. The Bible is my source for truth, wisdom, and guidance.

It alarms me when I watch other Christians worship our elected officials.

No where in the bible are we instructed to worship our elected officials. We are only instructed to pray for them and to honor them.

Here are some key verses about praying for our leaders:

1 Timothy 2:1–2 — I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

1 Peter 2:17 — Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

Romans 13:1 — Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Jeremiah 29:7 — Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.

Here are some key verses provided for our leaders:

Psalms 2:10–11 — Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.

Proverbs 11:14 — For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.

Proverbs 21:1 — The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.

Job 12:23–25 — He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses them.

Proverbs 2:1–8 — My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2) turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding — 3) indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4) and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5) then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. 6) For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7) He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8) for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

No where in the Bible are we told to WORSHIP our elected officials.

It should not shock us that the candidate that will be elected president in 2020 will be an imperfect human but it will. Other than this article who else has prepared you to expect imperfection? Who has prepared you to pray for but not worship the elected official?

To expect perfection is to worship.

The media has taught us to be appalled by any candidate’s imperfections. Right here is the subject for the intolerance that’s looming in our culture today! We are so expecting perfection that we have ZERO tolerance for imperfection. The media endlessly bombards us with every imperfection they can find. Over and over we are told to expect perfection. This is the same as telling us over and over to worship a king.

Where is 1 Timothy 2:1–2?

Where is Jeremiah 29:7?

Where are the other verses listed above?

No where in the Bible are we told to WORSHIP our elected officials.

It’s simple! We are instructed to PRAY for not WORSHIP our elected officials. The difference is huge! The difference is why we are more divided that united. The difference is why there is so much hated for the “other candidate” and for those who vote for the “other candidate”.

What we need is for ALL voters, whether Democratic or Republican, to agree — “my candidate is imperfect. Expect God to be perfect — not my candidate”.

My hope and expectation for perfection is ONLY in Almighty God. I don’t care what the media tells me. I will not be devastated by the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election. I will not hate the people who voted differently than me. I will pray for either candidate. You can’t put a person in office that I am allowed to refuse to pray for. No matter the outcome of the election I will look to the Bible for guidance on how to respond…

Jeremiah 29:7 — Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.

This passage (and the others listed above) will absolutely be relevant when the winner of the 2020 presidential election is inaugurated on January 20, 2021.
